There is no parking on our property but there is free visitor parking available on the street with according signage, though it can be competitive and unreliable. Garage rates generally range from $28 to $35, and are a 8 minute walk from the house.
Yes. We are about a 10 minute walk from four different T stops: Back Bay or Massachusetts Avenue on the Orange Line, and Prudential Center or Hynes Convention Center on the Green Line. From the airport it is easiest to take the Shuttle Bus to Copley Plaza and then walk. We are also accessible via the Silver Line Bus on both SL4 and SL5 routes.
No. Unfortunately all guests must be able to utilize stairs as none of the accommodations are handicap accessible.
Unfortunately we are not able to allow pets in the building.
Smoking of any kind is prohibited within the building.
The whole Penthouse is available for events with my permission so long as a staff member is present. We are happy to provide catering and any other services desired. (link to the events page)
No. Weddings, Bachelor(ette) parties, and/or engagement dinners are not possible.
Yes. Laundry is available downstairs in the foyer on the street level. The Studio and Duplex have direct access. Arlington and Berklee studios have access through the outside.
Reasonable quiet is to be expected of all tenants, (i.e. no loud music, parties, late night yelling). Headphones are available for your home theater system upon request.
Yes. Wifi is available throughout the house and on the roof deck.
Are any of the listings private?
Yes. Both the Studio and Duplex have their own private entrances, kitchens, and bathrooms. The Arlington and Berklee Suites include private bed/bath combo with access to a shared kitchen, living room, and skydeck.
Who has Access to the Roof Deck?
Roof Deck access is only available to guests staying in either the Arlington and/or Berklee Suites
Air mattress or extra guests?
No. Per City Ordinance, we are only allowed to host two guests per bedroom. Therefore we are not able to provide air mattresses.
Hosting friends/other guests?
Guests are welcome to host others we just ask that you have a conversation with staff and start to quiet down around 10pm. We try to ensure quiet nights after 11pm for all of our guests.
No. Unfortunately the accommodations are not suitable/safe for young children.
Help on Call?
Yes. A Staff member and/or Ned (homeowner) will always be available in person or via phone call.
Yes. A security deposit is required by AirBnb during the time of booking.
